Watchman

The true Christian is a watchman. He does not get entangled with this present World System. He is diligently waiting for the return of his Lord. That Lord is in fact Jesus the Christ. He has promised to return, for us and with us. I can not tell you everything that will happen on that great and terrible day. I do know we are told to watch and wait. We are to look for signs of His coming. No man knows the day or hour but we are given information about the signs of his coming. We will know the season of His return. I for one enjoy looking for those signs. Some say these things do not matter. They are disobedient to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We occupy 'til he comes. That does not mean that we take territory by military means. Unfortunately the American "Christian" thinks that God is well pleased with the bloody destruction of our earthly enemies. How sad. We occupy until the Gospel is published among all nations. We occupy by publishing that Gospel.Are you content to send paid missionaries to the field to evangelize men and women to Christ? Shame on you. You are called as they are. You are a watchman, occupying until your Lord returns, publishing the Gospel.
